Free Range Quest cruised across the prairies, hills and fields all the way from Portland, Oregon to the Mother Earth News Fair in Seven Springs PA 2013 to find loads of inspirational people working with real food, natural healing and all types of self-sufficient pursuits.
The mountains of Central Pennsylvania are beautiful this time of the year, tucked away among the Laurel Hill area is the Seven Springs resort – and this year’s set up was huge. We heard 20,000+ people were estimated to come learn and share.
Once again, we learned SO MUCH! From beekeeping and soap making to building earth ovens and foraging for natural medicine. From DIY solar panels to fabulous fermented probiotic beverages, this event has it all! Kristina even learned how to pee standing up (YEP, there’s a booth for that! HA!).
We’re working on several stories from our trip there — the top herbal remedies for your first aid kit, easy goat cheese, foraging for health, alternative farming and how to escape civilization (should one want to) – but first – we wanted to do this phenomenal giveaway package:
